Forces of Nature
Sandra Bullock is back, this time as the kind of kook who doesn't just eat in supermarkets -- she can live there, or anywhere. Forces of Nature is about the changes that come in our lives, changes that we don't think we can control.
Ben (Affleck) is on his way to a fairy tale wedding with his beloved Bridget (Tierney) when a plane crash leaves him in the questionable company of Sarah (Bullock). It is a road trip in the tradition of Planes, Trains and Automobiles, a string of outrageous events, many triggered by the unaffected Sarah.

Movie Poster, Forces of Nature |
Lovingly photographed, the film moves at a fair pace, although there are moments when Affleck could have been more in character and less out of his body. The highlight is a cash-getting strip duet. Tierney considerably underutilised in this film sufficiently captures our sympathy to make it difficult for us to decide what we would consider a true happy ending.
