Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous movie review
Gracie Hart (Sandra Bullock) is trying to find her place in the F.B.I., but her beauty queen assignment has made her the most recognisable agent around, effectively making her useless undercover. They make her the new face of the F.B.I., but will becoming a media star change our Gracie?
Picking up from Miss Congeniality, Armed and Fabulous gives Gracie another chance to be the best that she can be. She is assigned a team of stylists and another female agent with serious anger management issues (Regina King). It's all going winningly until someone abducts Gracie's friends, the reigning Miss America (Heather Burns) and the M.C. (William Shatner).
Once again penned by Marc Lawrence, this sequel takes the original concept a step further. Gracie is in danger of losing her way in the glitter of her new position and it is only when her friends are in danger that her inner F.B.I. agent comes to the fore and she must take extreme actions to investigate, and to save them.
A fun buddy movie that moves at a good pace to its satisfying conclusion.
