![]() | Lakeview TerraceWhat could be safer than living next to a cop? When a mixed-race couple move into their first home in suburban U.S.A., they are increasingly troubled by the man next door. A black widowed cop (Samuel L. Jackson) with kids might seem like a safe, if officious neighbour, but the two families become involved in an escalating animosity, worsened by the fact that a veteran police officier has a position and credibility , especially with any cops who might be called to mediate. The couple are confused, all the more so when they discover that other asian-born neighbours are delighted with their in-street security. What is is about this couple that has unleased the rage of the cop next door? |
