Has your interaction with fans, for example, at conventions, affected your work?

Although I have been to no conventions, I'd have to say my fans are why I do what I do. I love the feedback I get from them. Sometimes I start to think, "No one's going to like this, etc.", but they pull me out of it by telling me how great my writing is.

Is there any particular incident (a letter, a meeting, a comment that stands out?

Nothing that stands out above the rest. I take every little bit of feedback seriously. Whether it's someone telling me how great I'm doing or someone telling me what I could do to better myself, it all is equally important to me.

Do you have a favourite author or book (or writer or film or series) that has influenced you or that you return to?

There are way too many to list. Pretty much anything science fiction, books like To Kill a Mockingbird, and The Great Gatsby, are all influential to my work.

Who is the person you would most like to be trapped in a lift with? or a spaceship?

The Doctor :) :) Seriously, only if he has the TARDIS ... or not lol. He's pretty entertaining!

Who is the person you would most DISlike to be trapped in a lift with? Or a spaceship?

The Borg!

What would you pack for space? (Is there a food, beverage, book, teddy bear, etc that you couldn't do without?)

Coffee and some books or can I bring a friend?

What is the most important thing you would like to get/achieve from your work?

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't wanting money, but more than that, I'd just love to show the world what I can do. As long as I leave this world having made a mark on it, I'll have accomplished everything I set out to do.

What is the special satisfaction of your work?

What is the special satisfaction of your work? Knowing that somewhere out there someone is reading what I imagined is satisfaction enough.
