She can be found on twitter, tumblr and facebook, pretty much wherever her tablet will take her.

Has your interaction with fans, for example, at conventions, affected your work?

I don't do conventions (sorry too much sensory overload)so I guess that might leave me with: I have fans??? My Phil Byrnes character has a very devoted Marine fan back east.

Is there any particular incident (a letter, a meeting, a comment that stands out?

I would guess an email asking me to write more of Phil because he loved the actress playing her (in addition to loving the character).

Do you have a favourite author or book (or writer or film or series) that has influenced you or that you return to?

Well, we're going back a ways here so? Hemingway for description and non-description I love his tacitity; Runyon for incredible dialog and wild characters, Van Dine 'cause Philo Vance is a hoot. Bernard Cornwell's Sharpe's series is wonderful, no one writes better battle scenes. Lauren Groff, her Monsters of Templeton knocked my socks off so I'm waiting for more from her. Chuck Palahniuk's Lullaby I started reading and never put it down 'til I was done. As to if they've influenced me... I hope so. I hope everyone I read influences me, whether it's showing me something good or something truly awful. Oh, and just about every year I read Frederick Forsyth's Dogs of War and The Shepherd every Christmas.

Who is the person you would most like to be trapped in a lift with? or a spaceship?

Charlie Rose

Who is the person you would most DISlike to be trapped in a lift with? Or a spaceship?

Anyone who tries to shove their own brand of religion at me.

What would you pack for space? (Is there a food, beverage, book, teddy bear, etc that you couldn't do without?)

I imagine, for initial take off: box of Depends :)
Otherwise, my cats and plenty of chocolate and coffee and Greek yogurt, and a mango tree.

What is the most important thing you would like to get/achieve from your work?

Haven't got a clue.

What is the special satisfaction of your work?

It gives the voices in my head an outlet so they stop bothering me :) I honestly don't have an answer for this. I like it. That's it. I never question things I like.
