Talkback Emperors of the Air Philip Adams and Lee Burton (p/b, Allen & Unwin)
Talkback Emperors of the Air

This is 246 pages of selected extracts from radio talkback shows, and Adams' and Burtons' opinions of the shows, the readers, the politics, and the presenters. An extraordinary argument wherein the people involved are held up to public ridicule because the authors claim the shows are manipulated and manipulative to their 'aging' audience.

It is one side of an argument, but whether the authors are right or wrong, it is just their side and one asks, why?

Why did they bother writing it? What is the point? If the answer is in the book, I didn't find it.
