La Trobe's Cottage

Situated in King's Domain, behind the Shrine of Remembrance and near Gate F of the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne, this tiny cottage was once home to Victoria's first Lieutenant Governor, Charles La Trobe. The house still contains some of the original furnishings.
