This issue of Autumn, 1997

Well, either no-one is paying attention, or else you all have a worse case of time-confusion than I do. I finally learnt (from the TV, no less) that it is already Autumn (Faaall for USAmericans) and here I was still adding to the Summer issue. Microsoft recently held the Pacific Developers Conference here in Melbourne. I attended, and have been working my way through the beta software that they distributed there. You can expect reviews on Image Composer, Internet Studio 1.0 (Interdev? Visual Studio? - they changed the names somewhere), Music Composer and a few other bits in the next couple of weeks.
