The Jackal

It takes a thief to catch a thief, so a professional killer (Bruce Willis) is hunted down with the help of and Irish killer/terrorist (Richard Gere). Willis gets his chance to flex his acting muscles by running through a wide range of disguises.

A good action adventure film, with Bruce Willis having a great time being really, really bad and tormenting Richard Gere. Sidney Pointier is excellent as the FBI man with a conscience and a life to save.

If you guess the ending of this fast-paced stop-the-killer, you'll have done better than I.
Surprise endings are the best, and this film, and its ending are in the best tradition of the genre.
