Postman
In a post-apocalyptic America, the Postman is the last remnant of government and order.
Redemption and hope can come in strange guises. An actor-drifter finds the remains of a postman and takes the uniform and mail from the body. These give him entry to a nearby town, and a new meaning for his life and that of the youth of the area. Almost by accident he inspires a new group of posties -- providing communication and hope for isolated communities.
Wrapped up in the usual wild west cowboy saga, this is your classic sf version of the horse opera. |
