Festivale online magazine, May-June, 1998 The Borrowers movie review |
The Borrowers
Apparently set in the 1950s with one or two errors in props, this is your typical children's fare -- cute creatures, brave and noble children and wicked villains (John Goodman). It's very slapstick humour, the baddie loses, and the goodies win. Adults at children's prices. |
