Festivale online magazine, June issue U S Marshals movie review |
U. S. Marshals
Yep, you guessed it. The Fugitive, Part 2. This time the team is chasing an innocent man (deja vu) and in the process we just know that dear old sour-puss Gerard (Tommy Lee Jones) is going to prove his quarry's innocence. Robert Downey Jr joins the cast as a representative of the State Department.
It's just a chase film, but done by experts so there is a story line, there is characterisation, and the running about is interspersed with that acting stuff. U. S. Marshals has a broad appeal: not so much relationship stuff that the would-be-action-men throw up, and not so much violence that rest of us can enjoy the ride.
