You want a future, you got to stand up and steal it.

When Rudy Duncan (Ben Affleck) got out of jail, all he wanted was a cup of hot chocolate, but instead he took the place of his best friend, who was stabbed two days before he could get out and have a good time in a hotel with his gorgeous pen pal (Charlize Theron).

There are crime/caper stories that a quick, slick and clever. Other stories are all blood and gore and violence and blown-up cars in flames. Reindeer Games is the latter. Boy meets girl, girl gets boy into trouble, girl and boy go on the road with ruthless crooks.
