The Legend of Bagger Vance

Captain Junuh was the golden boy of Savannah -- privileged, beautiful, and the best golfer in the south. He answered the call to war joyously, leading the young men on their bright-eyed crusade. But the war was not the idealist fight that they expected and Junuh returned home angst-ridden, avoiding the people who would have given him a hero's welcome.

Your humble reviewer does her best, but after three unsuccessful attempts to watch this film (and paying for the privilege), she has had to admit defeat. It is an excellent somnambulant, but so predictable the brain goes into sleep mode in self-defence.

If anyone has managed to sit through the film and would like to review it, we'll be happy to post it (and admire their stamina).
