Stardust (2007) movie review
I'm a princess trapped into being a witch's slave. Will you liberate me?
In an English town of Wall lay a wall with a guarded gap in it. Beyond it, they said, lay a magical kingdom into which no-one must pass. A young man passes through the wall a tries to free a princess he encounters. Later, a child in a basket is delivered to him, a child called Tristram.
This is the story of how Tristram Thorn becomes a man ... to achieve it he must win the heart of his one, true, love.
In the kingdom of Stormhold, where the royal princess has been missing many years, the king's five sons are waiting for him to die. The king himself came to rule by killing his own brothers, but he has declared a new tradition -- that one of royal blood must restore a royal necklace.
On the other side of the wall the foundling Tristram is given one week to bring her a fallen star to win her hand in marriage.
The fallen star has miraculous powers, including restoring the looks of ageing witches who also seek it.
It is a magical adventure delightful for audience members of all ages.
