Love, Rosie (2014) movie review

Young Love, Again and Again

Rosie and Alex have been best friends since they were five. When Love, Rosie opens she is making the "best man's" speech at his wedding to Bethany.

Rosie and Alex had trod the prickly path of friendship and attraction since their teenage years. In Love, Rosie, they continually miss opportunities with one another as they pursue other interests, usually in reaction to the other's interest in someone else.

So, while Love, Rosie has characters of various interest and, shall we say, character, it's predictable. We're not swept away by great lovers, we're not wiping tears of joy of sadness from our eyes, it's just a story, simply told.
