Reasonable Doubt (2014) movie review
Hit and Miss
A young assistant district attorney hits-and-runs only to discover that someone else has been accused of the killing -- and worse, subsequently flagged as a potential multiple murderer.
A combination courtroom-drama / thriller, Reasonable Doubt does not make us care about the hero, or the villain. The young man is too self-interested for us to really care, and although he is supposed to be guilt-ridden, and then soul-tortured, he can't win our sympathy. Samuel L. Jackson walks through his role as the potential killer, a man who should horrify us.
Unimpressive
