The Chase (Feb 2014) book review

Thrills on the Run

Washington, D.C., Shanghai, Scotland and Montreal -- it's a mad chase around the world for FBI Special Agent Kate O'Hare, confidence trickster Nicolas Fox, and Kate's ex-black ops dad. This time they are tasked with preventing a diplomatic incident when the U.S.A. promises to return a priceless Chinese artifact.

Once again the trio use a combination of kick-ass and brainpower to win their ways through all the obstacles in their path.

The Fox/O'Hare adventure-crime series is proving to be a fun and engaging, and edge-of-the-seat franchise for established authors Janet Evanovich and Lee Goldberg.

The Chase by Janet Evanovich & Lee Goldberg (Feb 2014), hc, 320p, Bantam

Fox and O'Hare have enough chemistry to keep the romantics interested, and enough brains and guts to keep the crime aficiandos interested. Kate's father is just this side of a superhero himself, and an able backup in the special operations. The characters are interesting and likeable, and well worth spending time with.

A great read.
