Scary Movie

There are ultimately two types of satire. The first is the cleverness, wit, and charm of people like Oscar Wilde who bring a real story and well-drawn characters to the tale. The second is strained, with obvious exaggerations that ridicule without humour or understanding, this type is often mean-spirited and immature.

Scary Movie tends to the second type, following on films like Flying High, it spoofs the teenage horror films of the late 20th century.

If you like that kind of thing, check it out, otherwise there's little point to this film, it offers no insights nor does it further film making in any way.
