Fame (2009) movie review

Right Here's Where You Start Paying -- in Sweat

space

The original Fame captured hearts and minds with its universal storylines and its upbeat and heartfelt music.

In 2009 a new generation seeks to be heard and seen on their way to fame and fortune.

These are the favoured few -- from 10,000 applicants a new class is created and they, under the watchful eyes of heir teachers, must discover themselves as they uncover the talent and perserverance needed to make it in show business.

The new generation have updated storylines and characters and reworked and updated performance pieces. Their teachers are played by well-known show biz luminaries such as Kelsey Grammer.
