Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) movie review

The Enemy Within

Steve Rogers, a scientifically enhanced soldier who now fights under the title Captain America, has come through time cyrogenically. He must deal with the culture shock, the loss of his natural life, and the threat to the agency SHIELD, to which he belongs.

Welcome to another Marvel superhero story. This one follows the modern tendency to give the superheroes a bit of angst to go along with the super powers. Cap and red-headed kick-ass heroine Natasha (aka Black Widow) have a fight on their hands when a threat to SHIELD comes from within.

It's the usual fast-paced, action-filled race against time and fight of good against evil. There are lots of special effects, reworked uniforms to satisfy contemporary taste, and the occasional quip.
