Travellers Guide to the Universe
The adventures of Arthur Dent and Ford Prefect.
Arthur Dent never could get the hang of Thursdays, which might be why when his best friend (Ford Prefect) reveals that he is an alien and that the Earth is about to be demolished to make way for a hyperspace bypass, that Arthur suspects that it is Thursday. Fortunately his friend Ford has a 'thumb' and they hitchhike off the planet and into a series of adventures.
Originally a BBC radio play, The Hitchhiker's Guide to Galaxy is one of the iconic series in science fiction. If you haven't heard it, or read it, you are missing out.
Satirical and imaginative, the adventures of Arthur Dent and his friend Ford Prefect take us across time and space as they encounter strange extra-terrestrial species and corporations.
Adams' interest in music is evident in the recordings of the series.
