Short reviews in Reading Matters this month:
Samson's Lovely Mortal (Scanguards Vampires 1) (Tina Folsom)
Tina Folsom
This was a pretty good book, however, it leaned more toward the sexual encounters than the fact that they are vampires. Obviously the sex is not a problem. Of course it makes the story hot usually, but not in this case. Things heat up, but they are cooled off really quick just by the terms used. 'Impaled' for one....definitely out of place. While the story was slightly graphic in detail, impaled just isn't the word that came to mind from the many sex scenes.
The story line was great though. I do plan on reading the next in the series. This story has left me wanting more of Amaury's story. Although this book was mainly about Samson and Delilah, Amaury stood out to me more.
