Historic Sites - Melbourne Environs

The National Trust has "listed" a wide range of buildings and gardens. The maintenance of these places is educational and informative, yes, but more than that it gives Melbourne a rich texture. Some of the results of efforts to protect our architectural heritage are bizarre, such as those where the facade is of interest, so we have graceful and/or otherwise interesting faces on supermarkets and parking structures.
