Yarra River, Melbourne

Victoria, Australia

Melbourne sits on either side of the slow-moving Yarra River. It is a popular spot for river cruises, ferries to Williamstown, and watching the rowing clubs practising.

Flinders Street Station, Southbank, Federation Square, Alexandra Gardens, Birrarung Marr and the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne are all situated along the river close to the central district.
